CE Course: Pharmacists Intervention in the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases: Challenges for Pharmacy Practice

The first joint CE course was organized through cooperation of three RS universities and with contribution of Prof Martin Henman from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin. The Course was accredited by the National Health Council. Courses were held at the University of Nis on April 26th and at the University of Novi Sad on April 28th 2012. Both pharmacists and medical doctors attended the courses, with a total of 193 participants (87 in Nis and 106 in Novi Sad). Participants feedback was obtained through relevant questionnaire indicating the high level of satisfaction related to overall impression about the course, course topics, lectures and workshops. As the most important contributions, besides new scientific and professional information provided, joint collaboration of three universities and contribution from the international participants were emphasized.
